02 Legal framework
The processing described here complies with Cameroonian Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data, in force since 23 June 2026.
Where the website addresses people located in the European Union, we also apply the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

04 Recipients
Your data is processed only by the relevant Neptune Oil departments (sales, customer service, human resources) and by our technical providers:
- the website host and the email service;
- the map tile provider (OpenStreetMap or equivalent), which receives the IP address needed to display the map;
- Google, only if you click “Directions” (opens Google Maps) or accept audience measurement.
We never sell or rent your data.
05 Transfers outside Cameroon
Some providers may host data outside Cameroon. Such transfers are made only to countries offering an adequate level of protection or with appropriate safeguards, and in line with the formalities required by Law No. 2024/017 with the data protection authority.
06 Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to data is limited to authorised staff, and our providers are bound by confidentiality. If a data breach puts you at risk, we notify the competent authority and, where necessary, the people concerned.
07 Your rights
You have the following rights over your data:
- access and copy;
- correction of inaccurate data;
- erasure;
- objection, in particular to direct marketing;
- withdrawal of your consent at any time, without affecting past processing;
- portability, for people covered by the GDPR.
Write to info@neptune-oil.com or to our registered office, stating your request. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may contact the personal data protection authority established by Law No. 2024/017 or, for people located in the European Union, the supervisory authority of your country.
09 Minors
The website is not specifically aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data without the consent of their legal guardians.
10 Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
